Early-Access Muscle Regeneration Program for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Chimeric Medicine Institute coordinates access to a hospital-delivered, ethically approved muscle regeneration program for non-U.S. residents living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) or other progressive muscular disorders. This program uses proprietary chimeric myoblast technology developed by scientists affiliated with Dystrogen Therapeutics and manufactured under GMP-certified conditions in the European Union. All treatment is investigational, non-commercial, and conducted under the supervision of licensed physicians in Poland, pursuant to local regulatory approval, including hospital exemption and investigator-initiated clinical trial frameworks. This program is not FDA- or EMA-approved and is not available to residents of the United States.

Is This Therapy Approved?

This therapy is not approved by the U.S. FDA or the European Medicines Agency (EMA). It is available under the Hospital Exemption framework in the European Union, which permits access to advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) under strict medical and ethical oversight when no authorized alternative exists.

Who May Be Eligible

This program may be appropriate for patients who:

  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy
  • Are no longer eligible for exon-skipping or gene therapy trials
  • Have demonstrated progression despite standard care
  • Are medically stable and able to travel
